Years of experience in the market are the best proof of stable business and clients’ unwavering trust. When a company name is backed by three successful decades, it is clear that we are talking about a reliable and strong partner.

For 35 years, Miross has been building a strong reputation in the world of tourism and event organization. With offices in Belgrade and Podgorica, they have specialized in creating business trips, organizing events and seminars, as well as handling the complete logistics of large-scale gatherings.

Today, the agency is considered one of the most prominent in the region, and even far beyond its borders. We spoke with Mirjana Saletić, founder and general manager of Miross, about their work, dedication, challenges, credibility, as well as new ideas and projects.

Q: How challenging was it to stand out in the domestic and international markets?

MS: As the fastest-growing industry in the past decade, our sector was simultaneously the most affected by numerous challenges, from COVID and inflation, which impacted our field. Yet, these very challenges proved that only fully sustainable and innovative companies, ready for rapid change, adaptation, and implementation of new technologies, can survive. Through the diversity of its solutions, international partnerships, and continuous investment in people and knowledge, Miross managed not only to maintain its position but also to grow and develop at a global level which is a huge honor and proof of quality for us.

Q: Is Miross’s presence across multiple studios and platforms one of the key indicators of commitment, capability, and readiness to handle large and complex projects?

MS: Demanding and turbulent times require constant change, as each brings new experience and contributes to the company’s growth. This truly reflects Miross’s dedication, equipment, and readiness to manage extensive and challenging projects. All these activities have helped us quickly overcome challenges and understand what future events will look like. Today, no event can exist without technology, and our development in this direction was a natural and necessary step.

In addition to the EventArchitect group, which we founded, we are proud members of numerous international associations. After many years of work and dedication, we are now on the verge of full membership in IAPCO, which will make us the only representatives of this prestigious organization in Serbia, Montenegro, and the entire region — a tremendous honor and confirmation of our quality.

Q: Miross launched the first fully sustainable registration system in the region. What does it enable?

MS: The registration process has been elevated to a significantly higher level, with minimal or almost no additional investment. The system is designed to be environmentally and socially sustainable, raising participants’ awareness of the importance of sustainability, while also simplifying preparation, reducing costs, and offering payment only for printed cards. Its particular advantage lies in organizing large gatherings and events, as it significantly speeds up and facilitates the entire registration process. In this way, events become more modern, efficient, and aligned with global sustainability trends.

Furthermore, Miross has an office in Sava Centar, our largest and regionally most important congress center, which is also the most sustainable building in the region. The combination of our innovative registration system and presence in Sava Centar further positions us as a leader in sustainability and clearly sets us apart from the competition.

Q: What goes on behind large-scale events, and how challenging is it to organize them? Do you offer end-to-end solutions?

MS: Behind large events lies hard work, planning, and experience. Each event, regardless of size, carries its own specific challenges. With offices in Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia, and a team with exceptional experience (over 50,000 organized events in the past 35 years), we always manage to find the best solution. We offer complete solutions — from the initial application and planning, through execution, to final reporting. Our goal is to ensure organizers experience a professional process with minimal stress and the strong emotions that such projects usually bring. 

Q: You have received numerous awards. Are there any you would like to highlight? Are there particular projects or collaborations that stand out?

MS: We always especially highlight Eventex awards, where we have been ranked among the 100 most influential players in the event industry for three consecutive years. This is a confirmation of our long-term work, innovation, and global impact. 

Q: How would you define your main competitive advantage compared to other agencies, and why do clients repeatedly choose Miross?

MS: Miross’s main competitive advantage lies in experience, scale, and people, as well as in the sustainable approach we apply to every project.
